Not Safe For Wax returns after nearly 2 years of absence with Scarlet Pattern, a celestial debut LP from it's founder & curator, Miagma. Across an exuberant palette of eight genre morphing tracks, he paints a reflective picture of a recent journey through love, loss & the lessons in between.

Floating downtempo lines blur with deep, seductive leftfield grooves, showcasing Miagma's timeless contemporary sound as it blends with his newfound approaches to synthesis & arrangement. Each track points to a memory from the various seasons of a tumultuous relationship - from the bright shades of summertime (Megumi's Flight, Hot Hot Honey, View From The U) to autumn's melancholy (Trauma Bondage, A Comb For Daphne), and finally the eventual decay of winter (Inoculation, Open Door Policy). The album closes with Betsubara, a shimmering reminder that something sweeter is on spring's horizon - so let go of the past, and love from all distances.
